My first beats were nothing special. Actually, they were a total mess 😂

But I kept going, rambling through a mediocre series of beats and productions...

Until I had a major epiphany.

I thought to myself, "What if I'm thinking about finger drumming all wrong?"

"What if these pads can be set up and played like a real drum kit, like a real musical instrument?"

I excitedly started configuring a pad layout that would allow me to reach a full set of drums with all my fingers.

The more I played using this layout, the more it started clicking.

My fingers were rapidly turning into shredding machines, and it was because of the extremely intuitive nature & the logic behind the setup I had discovered.

I realized that I had a cheat code to high-level finger drumming and I wondered if others could learn it, too.

As I kept getting better, I kept thinking to myself: "Why hasn't anyone else figured this out?"

The answer is: because the finger drumming world was missing something BIG. ⬇️

Here's what finger drumming is missing, and how I've completely changed the game:

Every musical instrument, from the guitar to the acoustic drum kit to the violin and bassoon, has a standardized system behind it.

Over the decades and centuries, people have developed their skills with these instruments to insanely high levels, then created standards for new students to learn.

Guitar has standard tuning.

When you start learning, you learn the basic chord shapes.

Basic scale patterns.

Everything builds one piece after another, until eventually you're playing your favorite songs, and eventually shredding your own music.

This works because there are SO MANY great guitarists out there who have given us standards to learn with.

It makes the entire learning process really easy and straightforward, and there's less chance of getting sidetracked or stuck.

As long as you just keep practicing and learning the next standardized thing above your current level, you are basically guaranteed to keep getting better.

Now here's what's crazy about finger drumming, and why my epiphany was so huge:

There are NO standards for learning finger drumming. None.

Sure, there are a few rare people out there who have taken their skills to an insanely high level, and a few of them have lessons.

But there are no standards that new players can learn to rapidly make progress.

This is how I completely changed the game.

Not only did I manage to get to a super high skill level with the layout and style I had created...

But I also turned that into a complete system that can be repeated by ANYONE.

Even if you're a total beginner.

Even if you've never played music or drums before.
